EMERPHONE - EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
 |
EmerPhone systems are
used for a wide range of Emergency and Information applications.
To provide ATM, industrial, or information assistance
the unit simply works as a specialized vandal proof telephone.
As an emergency device the EmerPhone can activate strobe
lights or sirens, identify its location to the monitoring
station and indicate that help is on the way. EmerPhone
units can even activate doors, gates and elevators. |

Simple to Use
Using an EmerPhone is simple. A user presses the button or
picks up the telephone handset. The EmerPhone dials a pre-programmed
phone number. A back-up number can be programmed to dial if
the first is busy or does not answer. For example, the unit
can call the cell phone of a security guard who is away from
his desk. If used as a panic device, a strobe or siren is
activated to indicate the location of the caller to emergency
personnel.
Additional Assistance for the Disabled
EmerPhone units have several functions to assist the disabled.
Call indicator LED - All EmerPhone units have
an LED that turns red when a call is placed and green when
answered to assist the hearing impaired.
Call location voice identifIer - EmerPhone units
can come with voice identifier chips to assure the visually
impaired that help is on the way or to indicate the location
of the unit to the monitoring station.
Raised Braille lettering - EmerPhone units can
have raised Braille lettering to comply with ADA.
Voice recording - Some EmerPhone models have
the ability to monitor and record the conversations relating
to an emergency.
Many Models to Choose From
EmerPhone systems have many options to cover a wide range
of needs and applications.
Handset or speaker/mic. - Speaker/mic. units
are standard for most applications. Handset units are used
where noise is a problem or privacy is a concern.
Push button or keypad - Push button units simply
dial a single number. Keypad units are used to allow personnel
to dial extensions or outside numbers. The "0" can be used
as an Emergency "hot button".
Housing options - EmerPhone units come in several
basic forms. OEM modules are designed where EmerPhone is to
be installed in parking gates, transit ticket machines or
other equipment. Stainless steel surface and flush modules
are for the most vandal prone areas.
